USYNCRO CREATES THE USYNCRO SPACE BUSINESS LINE TO IMPLEMENT ITS BLOCKCHAIN SOLUTION FOR SATELLITE MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS.

AGREEMENT TO ADVANCE KEY PROCESSES IN THE SPACE SECTOR

As a result of the success of the first Blockchain tracking, Usyncro and Hydra Space have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of defining lines of business, developing synergies and use cases and unifying the services of both companies.

The space sector has undergone a major transformation in recent years. New technologies and models have appeared that allow to manufacture and launch a satellite with significant reductions in complexity and cost. Hydra Space is part of that trend by developing small satellites for IoT communications.

“However, and as is the case in other sectors, regulatory and logistical processes have probably not evolved at the same speed as the technology. The application of solutions such as Blockchain can be an important lever for improvement, not only in the definition of new services, but also contributing to provide greater agility and security to complex processes,” says Pablo Durbán, partner at Hydra Space,. “Our goal is to seek these improvements jointly with Usyncro, combining the experience and capabilities of both companies.”

This new business area will focus on evolving the world of satellite telecommunications by incorporating blockchain technology, in line with the priorities announced by the main international organizations. Last January 13, progress was made in this line, with the first process tracking via Blockchain for the launch of the picosatellites of the Spanish company Hydra Space.

Usyncro Space aims to contribute to optimizing processes related to the satellite world and to the evolution of the sector with the use of blockchain technology. To this end, it will incorporate this technology, guaranteeing security in communications, providing agility in document management in the regulatory field and coordination between the different actors in the space environment.

With the reference of the solution applied to Supply Chain management, Usyncro proposes Blockchain technology to provide the sector with its principles of collaboration, interoperability, independence, security and sustainability in the management of shipments to space.
