eCustoms evolves into a more advanced solution
THE INDEPENDENT AND OPEN PLATFORM THAT SYNCHRONIZES SUPPLY CHAIN PLAYERS AND DIGITIZES TRADITIONAL OPERATIONS
USYNCRO, THE BLOCKCHAIN SOLUTION THAT DIGITIZES GLOBAL TRADE LOGISTICS, IS BORN
Madrid, October 26, 2021.- Usyncro, the open and independent solution that digitizes global trade logistics, is born as an evolution of the eCustoms platform by incorporating new functionalities and integrating third-party services for a multimodal context that responds to the current Supply Chain issues.
The SAAS platform, hosted in the cloud, centralizes the management of processes and stores the documentation, giving visibility to all the actors involved. The documentation is traceable, secure and validated by the users themselves thanks to Blockchain technology.
Since its birth in 2018, and with more than 4,000 shipments already traced, Usyncro has not stopped adding successes in the national and international innovation ecosystem, accumulating awards such as the Germany Blockchain Award and the support of relevant American investors such as Draper B1 and Plug & Play, raising in July double the capital requested from the crowdfunding platform sociosinversores.com.
With the push of the pandemic in the digitalization of companies and the increasingly necessary agility in international transport, the founding partners of eCustoms decided to go a step further with their own team of developers, unifying modes of transport and adding third-party services with the firm purpose of building the Marketplace of logistics for international trade.
True to eCustoms’ initial objective of coordinating the supply chain, Usyncro brings together all the players regardless of the mode of transport used, whether by sea, air or land (rail or road); as well as the digitalization of any type of document, including eDocs such as eBL, eCMR, etc… and the usefulness of having organizations such as the Tax Agency to quickly validate customs procedures, even before the cargo is received.
Another of the advantages provided by the platform is the automation and optimization of tasks through the application of artificial intelligence, as well as the creation, modification of files and uploading of documents via “Smart Contracts”.
In this way, Usyncro provides transparency, agility and security in all shipments at a global level, reducing costs by up to 80% and minimizing the number of inefficiencies that arise as a result of manual processing and cumbersome paperwork management.
A MARKET PLACE FOR LOGISTICS
Among the services already available are the financing of shipments and purchase of goods and the possibility of securing cargo with different suppliers. The latter, including immediate reductions in premiums thanks to the traceability and guarantees of cargo status that the platform allows via Blockchain.
As for the Financing service, Usyncro has just signed an agreement with BBVA to boost the digitalization and internationalization of SMEs. With this collaboration, customers of both organizations will benefit, with improved financing conditions offered by the bank, and the implicit cost reduction following the digitization of their procedures and the elimination of inefficiencies.
“We have added our experience in transport and logistics, customs, cybersecurity software development, strategy and financial environments, and taking a step further formed Usyncro,” comments Cristina Martín Lorenzo, CEO of the company. “We work with clients all over the world, we have just opened a subsidiary in California and we believe that our unifying and global spirit will serve to make us a world standard for the supply chain,” she concludes.
